Privacy Policy

What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), profile information, location data you provide for search or coach listings, enquiry and message content, booking records, payment metadata (handled by Stripe — we never store card numbers), and usage analytics.
Why we collect it
To operate the marketplace: matching learners with coaches by location and category, delivering enquiries and notifications, processing subscriptions, verifying coach credentials (including WWCC where relevant), preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the platform.
Location privacy
Coach exact addresses are stored securely for radius search but are never displayed publicly unless the coach opts in. Public maps show approximate locations only.
Children
Learner profiles for children must be created by a parent or guardian, who controls the profile, communication consent and data. Categories involving children surface WWCC verification prominently.
Disclosure
We share information with: the coach you enquire with (your name, contact details and message), our service providers (hosting, email, SMS, payments) under contract, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase) and AWS infrastructure. Access is role-restricted and audit-logged.
Access, correction and deletion
You can access and update your information in account settings. You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account via the support page; we action deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
Overseas recipients
Some service providers process data in the United States and other regions under appropriate safeguards.
